• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We rode up from Durango to Telluride, 160w, 184w,145n. Beautiful ride! We've not been to Telluride for 10-15 years, oh my what a change. Not the same town we visited years ago. The ride was cool, 60F on the way up and cool rain heading back. About halfway back to Durango we got out of the rain and the temp rose to 80F. Here are the pics for today

I know times change..Just like the Royal Gorge..It was so nice before they put all that stuff around that suspension bridge..Made it like a freak show. IMO

Thanks....

I assume spell check corrected your title and it is still Durango...:roflblack: more great pictures thanks for sending them along...

I haven't been to Telluride since the early 70's.
when I was there one of the old Galloping Geese was on a monument in the middle of town. Is it still there or somewhere around?

:agree: We were there when I was young and really enjoyed the bridge and the canyon. I wanted to take my wife back to let her enjoy it as I did. Man, what a change. Not only a freak show, but a darn waste of God's handiwork. Can't even see the canyon anymore without paying the price of admission to a carnival. IMO as well.

:agree: I still like going there but hate the Carnival items that were added..They really took a beautiful spot and ruined it. I would still go back to see the Bridge and lower canyon
I been there several times and see they keep adding more crap.

Hmmmmm

I have been to Telluride 6 times since 2001 and not too sure where the "Carnival " is. I am know the town has grown since way back when, but I still find it to be a quaint little Resort Village!
