I have a 2018 Spyder RT Ltd that I bought new. Thinking about possibly trading it in on a 2025 RT Ltd, but have a question about the 2025's GPS navigation implementation.
Since I got my current Spyder I have used my Android phone in conjunction with BRP Connect and Sygic to provide the in-dash navigation function. However from what I have read, it appears that starting in 2024 when BRP introduced the 10.25" dash screen the new Spyders are no longer compatible with Android phones for the GPS/Nav. function.
If that is correct and I decide to upgrade to a '25 RT Ltd, it appears that in order to implement the GPS/Nav. function I would also have to purchase both an iPhone and a helmet headset and set things up using Apple CarPlay.
I would very much appreciate any information someone may be able to provide about this so I can better understand what I'd be getting into with my potential upgrade.
Thanks.
