• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. 2024 RTL display and other items failed

P195B - line pressure too low; U0155 - loss of communication with cluster; P194D - clutch pressure hydraulic gain too low.

At this point I am getting really angry with BRP, They have a display fault of parking brake on when it is off thru BUDS and my dealer doesn't know how to fix these problems and are waiting on BRP to tell them what to test.

They keep emailing BRP then have to wait for a reply. Have they never heard of a phone. Then the advertising Apple Car Play that they don't have. They really need to be on the phone with BRP and put a foot up their butts. When and if they figure it out they won't have the parts to fix it.

Tomorrow I am going to speak with the dealership general manager and vent my complains to him and see if he can get into BRP butt. I am really regretting buying the Spyder at the moment.

Once you get all the initial 'new bike/new model' crap sorted and work out exactly what you're prepared to let BRP &/or the dealers do, and what you can do for yourself instead &/or you find a good dealer/service bod who actually DOES know which end of a spanner to use & who deserves the other end forcibly inserted where the sun don't shine, it all becomes a whole lot better; and except for the few who truly have scored a lemon, Spyder Ryding really does start delivering the Miles of Smiles that many enjoy.... :ohyea:

You've just gotta get thru this first stage... :gaah:

@peter Aawen...yes true. In my case the owner of the dealership contacted BRP and opened a case with them. He also came 40 miles and flat bedded my Spyder back to his shop. That is service..

Oooh btw he tested some of the controls as he was picking the bike up. The drivers heated grips immedately gave a " heated lever error " and code ( sorry I did not get a photo of it ) ..IIRC someone else posted about this too.

I have had great dealings with them and trust them..this is the second Sea to Sky i have bought from them ( 2023 previously). They have excellent mechanics and stand behind their work.

BRP eeehh not so much esp on the quality control on these 2024's.

I trust my dealer to get this fixed.. dont know how long but there isnt much I can do to help them. Except be patient and let them do their job.( hard to do for sure) The owner knows I have a trip planned to the BaJaRon's Spyders in the Smokies event at end of April.

In any case I will keep this thread updated as I get news.

Thank you for what you said I feel better now. I love riding it and Im sure I will enjoy the Spyder when its fixed. My dealership is not a bad one its just that mine is the first 2024 they have had to work on and they have to wait on BRP. I just needed to vent.

Honestly, it's not the dealership's fault.

Fussing/complaining at them will do you no good at all. It might even be detrimental to you in the future.

BRP is who everyone needs to be fussing at.

I didn't fuss at the dealer, I talked to them and they gave me the phone number for customer service at BRP. I called BRP and spoke to them and discovered my dealer didn't have a direct phone number for them. Now they do have a direct dealer phone number. I was also told from BRP that I can be compensated for the down time. My dealership is going to give me a loaner until its fixed, you are right the dealer is doing the best they can.

I have a feeling that BRP is going to be doing several parts shipments before this situation is resolved.

BRP sent me an email asking my opinion and I told them the truth about what was happening as well as telling them about other 2024 owners being annoyed with the apple car play issue. so maybe they will get it in gear

So I had same issue and dealer replaced with new battery and as they were backing it out it did it again. After 2 hrs it is the dash cluster. Mine is a 2023 F3 Limited just purchased new last month. I kept getting DPS code, engine malfunction and VSS error. Then it will be fine. Short runs it was worse. Had to wait to restart and pray it would.

Start a case with BRP, I did and eventually the dealership gave me a new Spyder

We got the call that the dash was successfully replaced and I could pick it up. Funny how he said there is no cost to us. I wanted to reply Of course there won't be since we only had the bike for 3 weeks. Anyway we will see how it goes.

Yah, you're bloody right no cost! It's still under warranty, as it was sold only 3 weeks ago.

Wdaniels - so is it fixed? Has it stayed fixed? Appreciate it if you keep this updated. My 24 S2S should be getting a new cluster in today. So I'm understandably concerned...

Well my dealer replaced the crappy Jailiu battery with a Yuasa one for me under warranty. The new cluster is working fine. However, I have codes on it that can't be erased according to the dealer. Just a few days ago, I got the P0195 Line Pressure Low Code, but the bike did not exhibit any issues for that issue. I do the following once ready to start a ride - start bike using the recommended right grip twist and starter button; then before starting off, I press the parking brake off; depress the foot brake; and then shift to reverse or forward as needed. This helps reduce the clunk a little...

Still no answer from the forum as to what the P0195 code is. SA said just bring it in... Life isn't letting me do that right now tho'......
