2024 F3L - where are the fog lights? IS this a 2024?

So my dealer has a 2024 F3L, I saw comparisons of 2024 model vs previous models on you tube; the comparison shows the 2024 with fog lights? Here is a front pic of the one dealer has, but I see no fog lights?? This is the color I wanted back in 2021, but none around, so thinking about trading my 2020 F3L in. Only 3500 miles on it, it was a leftover that I bought spring of 2021, got it for $21,000, I owe $4000.00 on it. Thanks for any info..

fredgal, IMHO ... I would list here on the Forum what that dealer would pay you for it. They will low-ball you - you could do better here ... Good luck ... Mike

My question was whether the pic shown is a 2024. I don't see fog lights, are they standard?

So do the 2024 Limited's have fog lights? The comparison on you tube showed fog lights on the 2024 Limited? Thanks

I just purchased a 2024 F3 Limited Special several weeks ago and it does not have any fog lights. The dealer also had the red F3 Limited as shown in your photo and it did not have fog lights either.

I can't speak for the 2024 model year, but for my 2023 (and older model years), the aftermarket has some very nice options that are better and much cheaper than the Can Am OEM offerings. The OEM kit uses incandescent bulbs and are as bad as the stock headlamp color of older models.

I purchased this kit (currently unavailable) for about $150. It came with updated LED bulbs different to those pictured in the stock image. I only added some 3D printed spacers to make installing the brackets perfectly centered.

The switch is also lit up just like the OEM Spyder switches and in the exact same color too, almost as if they used the same switch.

Not sure if the 2024 has the same subframe and mounting locations, but it may be a very simple upgrade.

So I got a quote from the dealer, this was on the quote... LOL

Battery for life as long as you own the unit - $1500 reimbursement cap - :CAN001134100... $399.00

Offered me $16,000.00 for mine - no thanks!

I have a leftover 2023 F3L Special Edition (bought 4/29/24) and while walking around the dealership waiting for my 3,000-mile service, discovered the 2024's don't have fog lights - sheesh... such a disappointment BRP took them away. I think you could do better selling yours outright. I recently sold my 2018 F3L with 79,008 miles on it and had no trouble selling it, even with those miles. Dealers didn't want it because of the mileage. Best wishes!

Thanks for the info. The dealer has a red plasma demo with 700 miles, he is sending me a quote on that one, as that's the color I always wanted. Just curious to see if freight, setup, and other fees are on the demo quote...

I think the chances are good that those fees will be on the quote.

I get frustrated when I buy vehicles because of the junk fees. I'm not sold on the setup fee; I've seen a few videos on what it takes to uncrate these. I doubt it takes more than an hour as these come 80-95% pre-assembled. Limited and other Touring trims may take a little longer. I'm also willing to bet that most dealers don't do much in the way of checking alignment and belts.

Doc Fees are a total rip off. They will tell you they are mandatory. What the law states is there is a max they can charge. They all try and charge the max.

Other Fees - what is this? I would refuse to pay this unless it has a very legit explanation.

Honestly, based on the info you provided, you have a 4-year-old Limited that you are trading in with money owed and leaving almost 16K in debt. This would give me pause if it were me. BUT, I get it 100% and it's yours to enjoy. I'd be a liar if I said my Spyder wasn't mostly an impulse buy.

At least you got $2500 cash back ~ what's that all about? These are expensive toys. The next most expensive toys for us are Can-Am OEM accessories... :yikes:

$2500.00 cash back is because it is a demo with 700 miles on it, no freight either. Went to look at it Friday. It was out in the shop, dirty and buggy from the shop guy riding it. Altho the color is awesome, with the light shining on it you could see micro scratches. With my 2020 F3L with just 3700 miles, and only owing $3500.00 on it, I'm not doing the deal. If Can Am were to come out with a matte red finish, that would be great. Mine is liquid titanium, with 20 months of warranty left. Maybe next year? Interest rates are too high right now. They have a few RT'S and also a black F3L.
