There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2022 Ryker 600 - what is the rear shock spanner wrench size? Anyone?

So this seems to be a very difficult thing to find for some reason.

Everyone will point you to an SW-783. But that doesn't really fit right. What is the actual dimension of the nut on the shock? And what solid, one-piece (no 3/8" drive crap), or articulating spanner wrench fits it?

I want something like that shown in the photo. Funny thing is, that's advertised as an SW-783, but it's always accompanied by the 3/8" drive hook photo, so you never know which is the actual product.

If you search this sub-Forum (click on 'Search Forum' in the menu line immediately below the sub-forum title on any index page for this sub-forum ;) ) by typing in 'Rear Shock Spanner', the thread below confirms the Progressive Suspensions Pre-Load Spanner Wrench SW-783 as being the correct size:

AFAIK, all the non-Rally Rykers have the same suspension components - at least here in Oz, anyway! I believe that changed with the recent introduction of the Sport models of Rykers, which apparently run the same "KYB† HPG with preload adj" shocks as the Rally's do; but for the non-Rally or Sport, standard model Rykers, regardless of if they have the 600 or the 900 motors, they run the same shocks & their shocks adjust the same way. ;)

That said, with that style of shock adjustment spanners, they never seem to fit really fit 'exactly' right, but they do the job! So I reckon that if you've already got or can get an SW-783, with or without an included 3/8th inch drive hook, then you'll be able to get the job done!

Good Luck!

The SW-783 is designed to be used with a 3/8" drive ratchet. I believe M1dn1ghtN1nj4 is looking for one without that requirement. Like the one in his photo.

Welcome to the forum, M1dn1ghtN1nj4. The BikeMaster Shock Preload Wrench 152412 or the Motion Pro Shock Collar Spanner Wrench 68/87mm might work. No experience with either but looking at both to add one to my tool kit. I have the SW-783 but it is a pain to work with.
