• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey guys, I want to install a battery tender connector. Where are you guys routing it for easy access?

Easy access is relative to each individual.

I have mine inside the frunk, this way I have to unplug it to close the frunk lid. There are lots of post's where people have driven off with them still plugged in.
Another location is anywhere on the front suspension that is easily accessible by you.

dealer installed mine and located it on the right side near the spring.
i have a remove before flight doohickey coming from the plug to the
throttle as a reminder to unplug it.

Mine comes directly off the battery up under the seat and then hangs out over the right handlebar. No forgetting it's plugged in. Unplug it and store it back under the seat. Also handy for charging phone, GPS, heated clothing, and intercom on the fly.

Well I ended up putting it on top of the Left Radiator Fan support by the front suspension. It had little hooks that locked it in place as if it was meant to go there.

Same with my wife's 2021 Sea to Sky. The cable has a small red "Remove Before Flight" banner attached as a reminder to, well, remove.

Mine is located in the frunk and hangs out of the zipper. Easy Peazy connection and protected. I would not want it hanging out around the suspension exposed to the elements.

Same here, dealer that sold me my Indian Springfield sold me my RTL this year. Provided and installed on a complimentary basis for each bike.

I brought mine out of the back of the battery box and out to the a-arm. I zip tied it all along the way. The wire tucks up under the plastic cover there. Made it very clean looking and easy to get to.

:agree:...I have mine in the frunk too. Never forgot to unplug so far. The wife unplugs my plug so I will not forget.

She will get a tag soon and installed it. She almost forgot last time. ......

It is nowhere right now, but I am watching this thread for the most likely place.

Don't normally need one, since Florida can ride year round.

I am putting 4 gauge cable in so the charging hook up can also handle a jump start.

I have the tools to make up welding cables. No problem building one.

You have a pic you can post ?

I put mine in, hooked it to the battery ran it behind the frunk and out the left side, there is actually a spot that will hold the wires in place. when i plug it in it's right there just grab the wire and plug in. love it. 2021 spyder rtl

I have mine under the seat. I let it hang out when charging, then stick it back under the seat when unplugged. I also eliminated the lock on the seat, so I don't have to use the key to get to the gas.
