Installed these preload collars on a friends 2021 yesterday.
Initially, I attempted to reach in to remove the upper shock bolts with bodywork installed.
Do not even waste the time and effort. The 5 minutes to remove the left and right bodywork allowed proper access to those upper bolts. With bodywork removed, both shocks were removed in a few minutes. Using my own spring compressor, the springs removed easily, collars were installed, then springs reinstalled.
Shocks and attaching fasteners were an easy reinstallation. Bodywork was reinstalled by the owner as I picked up the few tools needed.
As I mentioned, just remove the left and right bodywork, this made the task super easy.
