• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2021 rear turn signal bulb

What is the bulb type and base for the rear turn signal. The book only states 21W. The signal is not very bright and I want to put another higher output bulb with the same base.

Taking a stab here......but I switched the dim rear turn signal bulb to a helluva bright LED. But then , I have a 2017 F3L. The base was like that on an 1157. I don't know if this is any help, but I didn't see any posts with info.

I tried to install brigher LED 'bulbs' in the rear of our '17 RT and had a bit of a problem. A standard 1156 bulb does not fit, as the bayonet pins are not directly opposite each other, they are offset 150°. The number on the bulb is 7507. I was able to find some LEDs on Amazon that are INSANELY bright, will find out in the next week or so how they look in the bike.

.

Might want to check with Superbrite LED's; I believe that they have a equivalent bulb finder. This of course would require the removal of the bulb currently being used.

My post (#4) was intended as a caution to watch for the offset pins that might otherwise go unnoticed.

The bulb (in the '17 RT) LOOKS like an 1156A, but it's not.

Why does Can Am do these stupid things. An 1157 LED seemed to fit fine in my 2014 RTS nojoke
