• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Interesting. I need a part, so I'm looking at BRP's website and they list Model Year 2021 already.
No changes to the colors available, Asphalt, Marsala, Chalk and Petrol Blue.

I'm not sure how accurate this will be as things develop. but this is what's posted so far.

Just got a report in the 2020 RT Tally from a member in Portugal. Said he just received a new 2020 in Marsala Red. It came with a 2021 manual and 2021 software update.

Does this mean there may be no production of 2021's? Are they are now bumping the year so that they are set for 2021? :bbq:

If history is any guide, unless there's mechanical changes, the only difference between model years is paint, and sometimes not even that.

I believe this is spot on. On facebook some one posted a picture of there new 2021 RT. Looks identical to my 2020, but with a 2021 manual. I would be very surprised if BRP changed anything on the Spyder itself.
Due to the pandemic with short staff and all - it make sense to just continue to manufacture the same machines with easy changes to the program, and Manual replacing the dates.

I was at my local dealer today checking on the Red/Dark RT Limited I have coming in. It is in and it is a 2021 model. VIN number confirmed, has "M" as year code.
