• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020 RT rear panel removal - is it meant to be this hard?

I am having a hard time getting the rear panel removed from my 2020 RT Base. I have pulled it straight up Loose from where it snaps in but I cannot get it to slide out I feel like I’m going to break it.

Any help is appreciated.

Steve

Take the rear seat off and squirt some armor all on the rubber mount, work it up and down then it will slide right off. I had trouble the first few times taking the tour pack off and putting the trim panel or tour pack back on until I got a little lube on the rubber mount. Make sure what ever you use for lube is rubber friendly.

Good to see you got it, beerandchips. I had exactly the same issue until I remembered good old silicone lubricant

I love this forum. I just ran into the same issue. Found some silicone lube. Gave it a few sprays and voila. 2yrs of owning this machine and never took the top case off to replace with the rear panel lol.
Thanks folks!
