• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020 RT Limited - MY LEGS ARE DANGLING!!!

OK - I drank the Kool Aid. I traded in Agador Spydercus, (my 2015 F3-S) for all the the bells and whistles of the re-designed RT (Agador 2.0) But, I am a 5' 2" woman - and I do miss being able to stretch my legs out on my foot pegs. I've got the handlebar riser, as well as the brake pedal riser on order from Lamonster (and I am praying this will help) - but PLEEEEEEEEZZZZZZ, Lamont...if anyone can design something that can come out from the side of the machine to stretch my legs out on, it would be you...a fellow F-3 rider. I can't have a standard highway peg that attaches to the outside of the humongous floorboards because my feet will never reach them. They have to be higher up.

Lamont - HEEEEELPPPPP!!!! I want to love my 2020 RT...I really am trying :-(

Lamont has a facebook page - also try him there plus email his company.
Don't feel bad I drank the Kool Aid also and I gave my 2015 F3-S to my brother.

Ur riding position will never be as comfortable (IMHO) as on the F3 but hopefully for you it can be OK.

For me sitting down in the F3 is very natural and of course with the handlebar, foot pegs + brake pedal 5 positions it can work for a variety of riders shape and sizes. Not so for the 2020+RT - that brake pedal is stuck where it is, and u are sitting up.

Sitting up on the RT with fixed brake pedal position close to side of RT means that highway pegs locations are limited. Coming out of side might interfere with getting to brake pedal.

I'm sure u have tried this but just in case - move as far forward in seat as possible. I use a backrest for support in setting forward.

Good luck
P.S. I did temporarily add a wooden block to right of brake pedal and back closer to rider. Didn't feel right, so now I just stretch out my leg by resting on my heel (not the same)

In hindsight I should have purchased the 2020+ F3T, however my 2020RT relationship has improved with F3 handlebars + backrest. I do like the added creature comforts of the RT

May help if you have the seat padding adjusted to suit your needs but would require taking the seat off and taking to a seat shop. This may help on some of your needs.

I'm 5'5" and know your pain. I would like the floorboards to be 1.5" - 2" higher. My thighs are angled down to reach the floorboards and the saddle impedes leg circulation. I have Lamonster's brake block and it is a great improvement. Even if just the front of the floorboards was raised it would help -- I can't reach the front of the floorboards now. F3 handlebars are the bomb.

Unfortunately, I don't do FB "aint nobody got time fo 'dat" - I've got a hard time figuring out the Spyder side of social media!! I have tried to email the shop - they don't respond, and I know they are terribly busy.

So.....desperate....I really do want to love it.

Hey ButterSmooth - much agreed - the floorboards are way low. That's why I am looking for something...anything...to rest my feet on. I've even gone into the old RTS stance and bent my legs backward and rested my feet on the passenger boards. Desperate times call for desperate measures!!

Make an appointment with an experienced motorcycle saddle customizer. Ride there. When he sees your problem, he will modify the seat to correct your posture and make your Spyder quite comfortable. I speak from experience; I've tried aftermarket saddles and I've tried the saddle makers who try to fit you from photos you send, neither worked well. I bought an Ultimate saddle and as good as they are, it needs adjusting, so I have an appointment on the 20th to get it tailored to my butt and have my riding posture corrected. I practice what I preach.

Na, the floorboards aren’t way low, justsmile.......they are way high :coffee:

Adding to my seat customizer suggestion, he can lower the seat as well move you forward or back as needed.

I agree with the seat mod idea. The seat is probably too wide for smaller framed people. A wide seat is great for average to large people as it spreads the weight out over a larger area. But a too wide seat will force a smaller persons legs out to the side instead of down. Making their legs effectively shorter. A good seat person can customize your seat to give you not only more leg extension ability. But a more comfortable seat as well. You may still need some additional modifications to get the pegs and controls where you need them. But, if required, will be much less than without the seat fix. I would definitely pursue the seat first. It might be all you need.
