If the dealer does not have physical pictures of the bike on their website just the rendering. Then the bike is being order. My dealer told me that the reds have had paint issuses at the factory and wont be ship till late March. Lamonster post on facebook that his red is delay for his shop till early April.

Sadly to say you may be correct on the March delivery I called my dealer again yesterday.
They said earlier, it would be here the second week of February. They contacted the BRP
representative for the dealership and are now saying late February or early March.

They're saying the same thing though it's a paint issue.

Well on the bright side, maybe all these other problems that I've been hearing about with fit and finish
with tie straps may be resolved by then.

Red was to be the first color produced , and as stated above there were some color issues and it was pushed to the back of the assembly schedule . Petrol and white are the only shipping colors currently . Dealers with confirmed factory orders have all the vehicle info once the unit is in the production schedule including the vin , so they do market them prior to them physically being on the ground.

I wonder how close is this red to the red that was on the 2016 F3T? They had issues with the red in the tank area, but I think it was due to color changes with fuel spills. Therefore, they painted the tops of most of the red ones in black. I actually liked that better, but that was just my thing. Maybe it is another issue now, and maybe the color isn't even close. Don't know.

It has been said in other posts on this board that the red spyders would be the last color to be assembled, probably in March.

Any new information on the marsala red RT? My dealer doesn't know the reason for the delay. Someone posted earlier there are problems with the paint. Has anyone been able to confirm the rumers?

Good news friends , I'm just back from a visit to BRP Spyder RT and F3 plant in Valcour Qc. and guess what..... 2020 RT and RTS were being assembled on the production line in marsala red.
prrrrretty nice machiiiiines. sorry no photos allowed in the plant.

they do market them prior to them physically being on the ground.

This business model is what has caused all the QC issues( fit, fitment and ?paint) on the already delivered, and still being deliverewd 2020 RT/RTLs. There's no way these "flawed" units should have left the factory. It's always more expensive to fix issues after the fact, instead of nipping them in the bud. Not to mention the inconvenience to the customer.

I've heard the the issue with the Deep Marsala Red color is a paint supplier issue.

Honda East Toledo is showing two of them on their website. Possibly in crates as their showroom is packed with other rides ( motorcycles, scooters etc.) besides Spyders.

My dealership called me today, to see if I wanted a 2020 RTL Marsala Dark, as I have a
chrome on order. They said they should be receiving in about 10 days or less. I said no
I will wait, mine was being built the following week.
