I need to adjust the headlights on my 2020 RT.I'm looking to make the vertical adjustment which is explained in the owner's manual & appears to be very simple. I'm a Hands-On guy took apart the mirrors as per the owner's manual. There is no adjustment screw. I have looked at and gone over this peered down every hole & crevice with LED light. I can't find the adjustment screw it shouldn't be that hard! I have a feeling the manual is wrong. Has anyone else done this? The headlights are definitely to low for night driving.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We haven’t messed with them yet and I tried to attach copies of the service manual but I can’t get them to load. It looks like you access the horizontal adjustment through the glove box!

My shop service manual says the"Headlights Vertical Aiming Adjustment, the low and high beam adjustment is done simultaneously.
The illustration shows the left mirror when sitting on spyder
1) first remove the mirror trim, on Australian models unplug the flash connector.
2) remove the screw on the end of the mirror housing
3) slightly pull the mirror to make more room
4) using a Phillips screwdriver, turn the headlight adjuster to adjust the headlights vertically
for horizontal adjustment, as Ann stated is accessed through glove box.

It's there. In the photo my mirror is removed for clarity. You don't need to remove it to adjust the headlights. The white plastic screw is the vertical adjuster. The shop manual shows the 2020 Australian RT. They have turn signals in the mirror housings. We don't get them.

Wow. I believe you, but there must have been some production change. Near as I can tell, my bike was built on or after 26 Feb., due to a bunch of stickers on various pieces with that date. Mine definitely has the adjuster. I gave it a quarter turn clockwise and could see the difference on the garage wall.

Isnt it that blue screw in the picture?? I guess some dont have one?? The way it sounds :shocked:

Yes. It's actually a bluish/gray. I was using an led headlamp to take the photo with a cellphone, so the color is a little off. But the point is, it's there, and turning it clockwise raised my headlights. I wonder if it's possible that the adjuster could be dislodged from that location and that's why the other guys can't find it, or, was there a production change?
