• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020 RT Customer Accessory Circuit

I've looked through the 2020 RT owner's manual and see no mention of any electrical wiring for connecting aftermarket accessories. My previous F3 had two. Anyone know if they exist?

In the absence of those wires, install a fuse block with a relay so it's only energized when the ignition is on. This will get your accessories isolated from the fussy Spyder electronics.

they also make fuse blocks with switched / unswitched circuits, or power on / power off

I saw a really trick fuse block sold by either Lamonster or SpyderPops or perhaps someone else but it cost something like $80.00. And now that I want one I can't freakin' find it. If someone knows where, please lay it on us.

I have to pull ours apart to look at what type of connectors they are but the service manual states that there are front and rear accessory plugs.
I can see them in the service manual schematics.
I can not see anywhere in the standard manual where they are referenced.

There is one on the right side. I have my Garmin 590LM GPS hooked up to it. It's only powered when the key is on.

I used a Blue Sea 6 ckt fuse box on my 2010 RT and bought another for my 2020 RT. I have not decided where to install it on the bike yet. Looking for ideas. ......
I have an F3L so your options may differ. I placed mine directly over the battery. It's powered through a relay that is energized only when the ignition is on.
For others wanting to do a fuse block, here's where I got mine. They have several more, click the back arrow......

There is one on the left side (sitting on the bike) remove the upper black side panel,It is has 2 zip ties on it & a dummy connector on the end you need a EV1 male pigtail to plug into it or cut the plug off & use the wires. The wires are short, It is a keyed circuit.

I ended up putting my accessory panel between the two in the front trunk.
Easy to get to, battery connection right there, and you can zip it back up
and will be out of sight.

The accessory panel is a Tsunami TSFDB 14ATM this I'm afraid is no longer available
or I can't find it on the Internet. I had bought an extra one when I put this on my 14.

I did something similar on my F3L Sorry about the upside down photo. Note the relay that powers it.

where can you source then EV! male plug? I went to several parts places no results. Next option is to wire direct.
