• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020/21 radiator grills

In my efforts to keep the radiators as clean as possible I purchased and installed a set of SprderPops K.O.T.T. covers. I also put a thin fiberglass furnace filter between the KOTT ang OEM screen.
Just returned from our AZ home to our TN home. (1900 miles) and we hit a lot of grasshoppers along the way. The KOTT screen stopped a fair number, but a lot got pass. The filter got those before the radiator.
I had just placed the filter material in loose so on the left side it dropped down and a complete grasshopper was stuck against the oem screen. I plan to attach the replacement filters to the KOTT screens using zip ties to see if that will work better.

Looks like your solution to the bug problem would significantly restrict the air flow to the radiators. Do you notice that your fan comes on faster or that you are running at a higher temperature?

The filter itself is the least restrictive I could find. We have been using them for over two years and 40,000+ miles. Have not noticed the fans coming on sooner, or staying on longer except when they get packed with crud. Even packed the Spyders have never overheated and we have driven them in 100+ weather.
