• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I’ve got a new 2019 with only 2,400 miles on it. Had to put a new battery in it this spring. Now showing check engine light upon starting. I checked for codes and got the “no active codes”. I checked oil level and it’s perfect after warming engine. Any idea what is going on?

When you replaced the battery, you didn't forget to place some accessory wire with the +Pos post. I have done that!
Just a thought....Good Luck....Bill

I say drive it 5 miles shut off and see if it resets or goes away. For example if you raise the rear tire and spin it the check engine comes on. Drive for 5 minutes turn off and it goes away. It will put you in limp mode if there’s a real problem. Watch temp and easy going no high rev stuff, just go around the block

Engine Check Light

:coffee: Did your check engine light come on before you changed your battery? Or did it come on after?
Did you determine what caused your battery issue?
Have your installed any new items on your Spyder?

A little more information would be helpful. ...

No new items installed. Light came on after new battery installed by my husband. Which may be a problem since he can’t change the batteries in a flashlight correctly.

Did you ever get this figured out? My wife's 2021 is having the same issue but the battery was never removed, just hooked to a tender for winter

The only thing I can think of is " did He put the Positive wire on first ??? or the Negative ???? ..... after removing the key from the ignition switch, this should cancel the code ..... Mike
