• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2018 RT vs 2021 RT BRP Connect - improved any?

I’m trading my 2018 RT for a 2021 RTL. Is the 2021 BPR connect user friendly or the same crap software that was on my 2018. Hoping after 3 years it will be more user friendly.

It's worthless on the 2020's, which I believe are identical to the 2021's. I'm really puzzled why they released this at all - poorly functioning software is much worse than no software at all.

I love my Spyder, and I understand that not everything can be perfect, but this is completely inexcusable.

Same crap software. Sorry. I don't expect the next gen RT to come out until 2026 or 2027 and I sincerely hope BuRP gets with the times and ditches BuRP Connect and adds Android Auto/Apple Carplay to a larger dash display.

No difference. They need to improve their GPS system mainly to make it larger. These old eyes can't read something that small anymore. A GPS system (Garmin or TomTom) mounted on the bars works so much better for most of us. And let's not even mention the complicated audio/communication set-up they use. There's just got to be an easier way.

It's one of the reasons I will continue to ride my '14 RT-S. The only way I will part with my Zumo 590 is when someone pries it from my cold, dead fingers.
