• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Here it is...the much anticipated (by a few) Caswell Riders 2018 Ride Schedule. Kaye, Les and I hope that this schedule will hold tight....but remember, it’s not carved in stone and might have to be adjusted. If that happens I will post it and send out a revised schedule with whatever might need to be changed.

April 21: Santiago, MN
May 12: Hwy 210 thru Jay Cooke State Park
May 26-28: Overnight trip to West Bend, Iowa - The Grotto is our destination
June 16: Spooner, WI - Big Dick’s Buckhorn Inn
July 4th: Impromptu ride to be announced
July 14-15: Overnight trip to Preston, MN
July 28: Ride to Hairy Mosquito and Ride in Kanabec County Parade
August 11: Bayport BBQ
September 1-3: Grand Forks, ND
September 22: Color Ride - direction to be determined by Mother Nature
October 7: Pinehaven Farm and Smokey’s Pub & Grill
October 20: Moose Lake, MN followed by Annual Potluck @ the Caswell’s
November: ?
December 8: Gifts for Kids toy drive

We hope you can come to as many of these as you can this riding season. Our rides all leave from Caswell Cycle in Mora, Minnesota. We start gathering to sign in and draw cards for our end of the year poker hand at 9:00am and the rides leave at 10:00am. We usually have a great restaurant picked out at our destination for the day and will stop for fuel and photo ops along the way. The rides average around 130 miles, give or take a few miles. Please arrive at Caswell’s with a full tank of gas, gear for the weather (we will ride in the rain!) and a sense of adventure!

Paula,
Thanks to you and Kay for putting together this ride schedule again this year!
One possible conflict I see, and maybe you considered this, is the ride to Preston, MN on July 14th& 15th. That's the same weekend as the Deadwood 3 Wheel Rally.

We realize that there is always some conflict and that we do have to consider that not everyone goes to the out of town rallies. With that said...hmmm... choices, choices, choices. Hope to see you at as many of our rides that you can make...see you!

I'm assuming the ride for Saturday May 12th is still taking place. Meet at Caswells?
Yes, it is still on. We are a ride "rain or shine" group so it has be pretty bad weather to make us cancel. Hope to see you up there. We sign in and pull our poker cards between 9-10am and head out for our rides at 10. Don't forget to stop in town and top off your tank before the ride.
