My wife and I just can't picture ouselves in the slingshot.
In fairness, that's what we used to think about the spyder too but we love our Spyder.

I got the spyder for me because of medical issues and the wife got the slingshot because of her medical isssues so we are both riding again like we used too before all the medical issues. Just suprised of the amount of people,that havent seen a spyder or a slingshot

There is a black one up here that I have seen several times. We are always going 60 mph in the opposite direction. If I see it parked, I will stop and have a chat. There are no dealers that I know of here. :yes:

I sometimes ride in a group that includes a girl in a slingshot. If you try to keep up with it in turns it will make you say :cus: , :cus::cus:, and possibly even :cus::cus::cus:. Then after you give up you will say :gaah:. I can tell you that my fragile male ego was destroyed by a 170 hp go kart that corners like it is on rails. Just a fair warning!

Different platforms. Different function. The Spyder is a 3 wheeled motorcycle. The Slingshot is a 3 wheeled car. Lower center of gravity, wider stance, more rubber on the road and more HP. You wouldn't feel bad getting passed by a Ferrari... Don't feel bad getting passed by a Slingshot.

Trade machines and you'd be in front! :thumbup:

Besides.... There's more to life than going around curves fast... BUT NO MUCH! :roflblack:

LMAO. I've had goldwings, a very silent fast. Never been near a slingshot but I don't think it's in my future. Just way too far removed from a motorcycle for my taste but that's just my opinion and you know what they say!!!

I was shocked when I looked up the slingshot specs. It's a freakin stripped down equinox. No wonder it's fast with the 2.4 L and 173 HP.
We don't see any around here but saw quite a few when we travelled through Quebec this summer. They certainly do attract attention.

Read an article on MSN this morning about the 2018 Slingshot; while looking at some of the pictures, I noticed that they were using Kenda tires! They must have one helluva marketing department!!!

That girl needs a T-shirt like my daughter has. She rides 4-wheelers in the forest and the back of her shirt says "You Just Got Passed By A Girl".

I drove a Slingshot around some tight corners once, and no Spyder is meant to compete with that. So don't be ashamed. :shocked:

Yeah, I've recovered from my humiliation. My tactic now is to be super-nice so she will let me drive it! :yes:

I kinda' like the T-Rex a little better than the Slingshot! I've seen a couple up here.....
