• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for opinions, especially for the passenger arm rests. As to being sturdy/rugged, and ease of installation. After over 40 years on 2 wheels, I am only 1 year into being on 3 wheels. Besides your years of experience as to which ones work and which ones should I stay away from? Either way, I have really appreciated the help and expertise from the spyder community.

I really like the Utopia back rest. I have had 3 of them,2 on Yamaha Royal Stars and one on my 2012 RST and they are well made. Can't help you on the arm rests. My wife doesn't like them.

arm rests, driver back rest.

For the backrest driver me too I advise you Utopia, I had my Spyder RT SE6 2014 in July this year, the first expense was the Utopia backrest, why, it has a good width and height and the fit is great the A1 quality.
I advise you in my opinion these the best.

For the passenger the armrest, personally I think the BRP is excellent.

I just did the BRP rests last week and that video is far better than the instructions.Hardest part was getting the dang antennae loose!Took my time, made multiple referrals to the vid,was not bad at all.

Based on what I read here, I ordered the Utopia backrest and BRP armrests. Everthing should be in and installed in about 2 weeks. I can't wait!
