• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2017 F3-S Special Edition Daytona 500 Spyder

Very nice, I'm going to get one in the spring. Does it come with a rear seat and the mono cowl or only the cowl?

Congrads on purchasing that "bad boy". I am avoiding the dealer cause I love my current Spyder but feel the pull to go dark

I just called 2 dealers in Central FL this morning to ask if they had them in stock, but no luck. I'm ready to trade in my 2 month old F3-S for the Daytona. I'll probably go put a deposit on one this weekend so I get one of the first ones to hit the dealer. What do you think trade in value will be on my F3? It's a 2015 F3-s with less than 900 miles. Yes, hundred, not thousand. LOL

Unfortunatly they are probably only going to give you low blue book.

Joey, I watched the video that Lamonster had done with a new 2017 Daytona. I don't want to sound like a naysayer or act like a wet blanket but other than the cool colors and the ability to turn off the traction control, I am not sure what you would be gaining with the Daytona over your 2015 F3-S? As another poster opined, you will likely only get a dealer trade-in price and will likely have to pay near full retail for the Daytona because it is a brand new and supposedly limited model which suggests a large difference in money.

I was thinking about what it means to turn down the Nanny and other than doing burn outs while drifting and maybe riding a bit more aggressively in the twisties, what will the changes do for you other than wear out your rear tire probably twice as fast? I am not one to talk much about impulse buying because I have many t-shirts that disprove my current suggestions of considering a more measured approach:p Good luck in whatever decisions you make. They will keep printing more money:yes:

Capt.Bob is correct. I bought this bike knowing I would have to eat the difference. For me it was not that big a concern as I really wanted an F3 ,specifically this one. Being able to turn the traction control off is a bonus ,but after trying it a couple of times its not something I will be using on a regular basis. I do absolutely love the color scheme. What does not show up in the photo is the fact that the yellow paint has pearl in it. It looks amazing in the sunlight. Was it worth the $22,550.00 ? For me it is. This thing is a blast even with the traction control on.

I finally got to see one in person today. Although it is nice,I would still rather have a F3T of any configuration. But that is just me.
