There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Leave my RS alone...!!

I'm a diehard RS (modified) ryder. Don't much care what they do to the rest..sorta...if they don't I might look into the aprilla rotax 998 149 hp engine.
Things are pretty quiet out there, all but the speculators. Don't think they will drop anything yet or make major changes. Always suspect the 1330 ace will go into the ST may help sales, as it is set up for it. Dropping the 998 makes no sense as it is used in many other machines besides the spyder. Colors for sure other cosmetics to justify the prices...:dontknow: who knows they are good at surprises...good and not so good...:roflblack:

OFF TOPIC

Char......:congrats:......I heard your LL team beat those West Coasters :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:............Mike

My predictions are in the archives. :roflblack::roflblack:

Good bye RS. Some new colors for 2016. Would be very surprised to see anything new in the line up of models or engines this year.

I will wait for them to show us the beef. :bbq::bbq::bbq:

A Can am dealer that I spoke to last Friday reckons a 2 wheeler will be introduced:dontknow:

Now that would be interesting. Would you by a two wheeler if it was newly introduced by BRP? I would not for a couple reasons.

:ani29:: I can't ride them anymore because of my bad hip. I was a fan of "big iron" and those 900# behemoths. If true, I am guessing some kind of entry level (650 cc or so) machine.

:ani29:: There is such a selection of "tried and true" stuff out there now that a first year model of anything new would probably not be very successful.

This will give us some more "speculation" posts though.

funny

I find it a bit funny (in an 'odd' not 'haha' way) - previous posts every year speculating on BRP's new offerings have always generated a lot of ideas and responses, but this one seems a bit ho-hum.

Maybe all the hype about the sturgis colour change has left us with a feeling of ...

Every other year I've been on the web checking out the USA launch, but this year I'll probably wait for people to tell me all about it.

Nevertheless - as husband has just bought an F3S and I'm happy with my ST-L and so not in the market financially - what I'd like is a triple in my ST (not putting any money on a bet on this though).

I'd be happy if BRP did NOT issue a new model every year except for colour options - car manufacturers don't change every year - and focussed instead on quality of components, tweaking (fixing) known/apparent issues, and dealership networks. Spyders are now established-enough to be able to wait a bit for radical changes, in my opinion.

Oh of course the dealers can still have their party...

I think there will be an ST with the 1330 or a completely redesigned RS. The 1330 ST is a pretty easy change IMO. A redesigned & smaller frunk to make room for the radiators and not much else has to change. RS? How many changes can you make and still make it entry level without increasing the price. I guess we will all find out soon enough.

I have been expecting them to offer a smaller CC motor in the "entry" level RS. With the Maverick having a turbo option for the second year, I don't think it's too far stretch to see them putting one in a Spyder.

I just hope they got the clown colors out of their system.

Every year we play this game, but this year, I'm not all that motivated. Been burned too many times by teases.

My vote too is nothing but colors and price creep. :(

That said, I *do* think BRP is considering getting back into the two-wheel game, there have been too many rumors in the past few years to be idle speculation. Won't happen this year-- we would have had spy reports by now-- but I'm sure that BRP/Can-Am looks at the success of the Ducati Scrambler and similar bikes and is kicking themselves that they aren't playing in a market they once were very strong in.

No Real Changes....

Except for colors and maybe options/farkles.

BRP will drop the RS & RSS but keep the 998 Rotax in the ST.

I guess that the "Silly Season" has officially started! :D
BNGs are a given.
Beyond that: September 21st should answer your questions.

I hope not. When BRP stops selling the RS, RSS I stop buying Sypders. ST, RT, F3...just not my thing. I'm not sure why everyone is so quick to get rid of the RS?

I say the ST is going Bye, Bye! At any rate get back to the popular colors- No More Clown stuff like last year PLEASE!!nojoke

Rumours here in the UK is the 998 RS & ST will be dropped for BRP to concentrate on RT's & F3's
They will not bring out any new models to allow the existing RS's and ST's to be sold off,
They may update the RT & the F3 following the wish list posted on this forum
