There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2016 Spyder Line up announcement at sturgis?

We will just have to wait and see. I really hope that it is not the touring F3 similar to the picture. I thought that was what they had the special packages for.

Linda was all set for me to trade the 2011 on the "latest and greatest," so that she could snarf the 2014. :roflblack::roflblack:

I also hope it not a touring F3.

Turbo Diesel?? Looks like a nice decal to me. Under the hood--:dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:

I believe someone in times past also put a Dodge Hemi badge on their :ani29:--just to keep it interesting. :roflblack::roflblack:

Liters from cubic inches.......divide inches by 61.1. There's 61.1 cubic inches in a liter. 81 divided by 61.1 = 1.3256955, or 1325.6955cc.

Sorry, but using 61.1 cu in/liter suffers from an error in the derivation of the 61.1 number. An inch is officially defined by International Standards as being 2.54 cm. Therefore 2.54 x 2.54 x 2.54 x 81 provides an exact equivalent which is 1327.352184 rounded to 6 decimal places! There is actually 1000/16.387064 = 61.02374409 cubic inches in a litre. No idea where you found the 61.1 number but it ain't right!

Now, let's argue about something that matters, like is a touring model of the F3 the greatest thing to come down the pike since the 1330 engine, which by the way is 81.16157965 cubic inches! :roflblack: That of course is assuming the 1330 number is the exact displacement of the 1330 engine, which is quite unlikely! And you know what happens when we assume!

I Don't Remember? I'm a 66 Year Old, 31 Year Veteran with a Neurological Limp and even though I'm in the Gym 6 Days a week "Sometimes" I have Memory Lapses?

The only time I have memory lapses is on the way home from a Spyder ride
I forget where I live and it takes me forever to get home :yes::yes:

While the 2016 unveiling may or may not be a Touring edition of the F3, I do expect it to be an expansion of the F3 family, in one direction or another. It will be interesting to see what direction they take it, if that's the case.

Could be this, or the other.

New touring F3 or RT

I don't have a clue what will be unveiled but with all the current deep discounts on RTs we may have a hint. Bob

A lot of folks are going to be happy with one announcement, and the others will be standard stuff... :doorag:

1.2 million??
That makes that little rock concert in Bethel, NY that happened a while back look like a little picnic...

Since I haven't seen anyone else mention it I'll throw my guess into the ring:

Adventure Touring model. Basically a Spyder that can go off road on trails.

 I haven't made a guess yet! :banghead:

Here goes:
Since the RS is the model that has the most years under it's belt; this'll be the one getting unveiled.
But it won't be an RS that any of us would recognize! :yikes:
BRP will cast the replacement for it as a "Starter" bike.
Smaller and lighter; it'll carry a parallel twin engine under the smaller bodywork.
It'll come in probably closer to $11,000 new; making it more affordable for folks that are jumping into the market for the first time.
(Weren't we already told that you can't order any more RSes in Great Britain?)

Don't most of the people that go to Sturgis ride a bike already. I've never been, but it seems that the people who attend are fairly hardcore, based on what I've read in the past. My point is why would BRP unleash (at Sturgis) some model for those that have never ridden, or cannot afford too much. I still think they will go for another demographic market (other than what you've chosen); they'll be looking to convert those already riding a 2 wheeler.

Bob D.,

A side bet. If I win, you ask Lamont to change your post count to 1, where it will stay forever. If you win, I'll send you $25.
