There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2016 RT Wiring diagram for analog gauges

Quick Request.

I had a 2011 RT and I removed both analog gauges and replaced them with USB port and voltmeter. The wires to the gauges were simple individual wires to a plug. It was easy to tap them or add a pin to go into the plug.

I now have a 2016 RT-S and the wiring is some kind of harness. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for those harness plugs? I need to know which is power and ground.

Thanks.

My 2015 RTL diagram shows both gauges have orange with red on the positive side and black with violet on the negative side.

Thanks. I'll open up the dash again and see if the 2015 wiring for the gauges is the same as the 2016. It was so much easier to tap them on the ol' 2011, three wires on the plug and a separate wire for the light.

I think someone suggested not connecting into the gauge wiring on the 2014 - 2017 Spyder RT's as they go via the cluster where the previous Spyder RT ones did not
I am sure somebody managed to have a problem with their Cluster after using the wires for power etc

It may be worth checking with others who may have more information on this
