2016 RT rumor

If they redesign the bags and top case...bags 2 to 3 inches deeper, top case wider and longer, they could do the F3 front end on it and GAIN storage. Size the bags to take a XXXL full face with a bluetooth setup, and the top case close to the Harley Tour Pack.

The F3 holds a full face Arai XXL with a Sena bluetooth and the charging outlet just fine. An xxxl cannot be that much bigger and mine has room to spare on all sides and top.

not likely....if they make any major changes they would be with the ST (if they want to save it /or better it's sales) probably the 1330 ACE and /or the RSS (more sport more power) maybe the 1000R twin turbo, but the RS will be the base entry level machine no changes. Sounds good to me..!! :yes::yes:

My guess--it may be time for a bit of style change. The RT is pretty similar to the 2010 except for the 1330 engine.

The F3 could be considered as a styling change for the RS.

This time of the year is always fun.

My dealer just told me they expect style changes for 2016, and that's why the rebates and 1.9% financing that ended at the end of July to move out the dealership stocks in prep. They opined that it may just be sports models, but who knows? The 2016's were due to come out at the end of July, beginning of August (now).
