Good luck on no interstates. Going through cities is a pain on surface streets. It is also difficult crossing rivers and bays without interstates.

Agree...it is tough, we have a route figured out for most places and we are staying away from most major cities. The biggest pain will be getting from NJ through the NY City area into CT. We planned a short mileage day knowing that we will be in for quite a bit of traffic that day. After that, we are in good shape.

We will be riding along the coast of Oregon and then on into California before heading inland to Redding, CA starting back East towards home.

Thanks for the invite! We will be in Northern CA coming down the 101 to McKinleyville and over to Redding on July 13, down to Truckee and on into Reno on July 14, cruising around Lake Tahoe on July 15, then heading on East on July 16. We will check out your rides around that time to see what's going on.

We looked into the IBA and didn't see any we would qualify for....will have to look again!
