• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 F3-S Vibration first long drive!!!!

Well us boys with an F3 Limited are just going to have to wait for the SMOOTHSPYDER model. Jim has it in the works (pending). My new 2016 F3 LMT shakes like a Dog Passing a Peach Pit from 60-73 mph. Unbelievable a $28,000+ machine would do this. Right at the speed I want to be with the friends. It's truly a design flaw. No it's not the RPM (engine), it's the friggen belt. I'm very disappointed with this machine at this point, and I can only hope BRP is listening and has a fix. Yes the tire pressure 18 front & 28 rear, yes the tension is ok. Sorry, guess I'm used to airplanes, were this would be a "Grounding" unaxeptable flaw and problem for this kind of vibration. Regretfully I'm starting to feel like I've made a big mistake with this purchase.

I get it at 71 but roll on and off and it usually solves the issue ... But is a pain in the butt to have to do at 71 each and every time... Sounds like BRP is working on a recall? Taking that from one of the posts above...

I have both a 2008 RS & F3S and both are fitted with smoothspyder belt tensioners from capt Jim. The first was bought a few years ago after I got fed up with the vibration on my RS and it solved all vibration. When I bought my F3 I knew I would have the same problem and promptly contacted Capt Jim who sent me one. When it arrived it would not fit as we realised the UK spec F3 has a smaller rear sprocket and slightly different swing arm. He said sent it back and he would work something out. He shipped a re-worked tensioner out to me before he had received the original one back. Fitted it to the F3, works perfect! He sells a first class product of high quality that does what it says on the tin.

Daniel from Kamloops, I'm in Kelowna & am in the market for a belt tensioner for my F3S, but can't logically spend $200.00 plus shipping (& exchange) with our Canadian money not worth much more than Monopoly money. It's just ridiculous to spend that kind of cash for such a small piece of equipment. If your friend could make one for my F3S for a decent price, please let me know.

I own the FB page "British Columbia Spyder Web." You could let me know there plus, post your friend's information there to get the word out. Some good, FREE advertising!

Cheers!
