• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 RTS prices?

Hi, I'm wanting to purchase a new 2015 RT-s-SE6 from a local dealership. I've never been good at negotiating a price as I can't hide my excitement and the salesmen see right through me. The listed price is 28,249,00.00. Are motorcycle dealership prices negotiable in the first place and if so, what should I try to get them down to?

PRICE

:welcome:.........IMotorsports.......is a sponsor here ......go to Home Page and find their AD........great prices and Free shipping ........you should at least start with them ........................JMHO.....Mike :bbq:

Oh thanks, I will look.

EDIT: OH WOW...THOSE PRICES! Has anyone dealt with them before?

EDIT 2: Disregard. Lurking for 3-4 years and just now registered so search function is accessible. A lot of positive things I see about them. I'm still going to go to the dealership to actually test drive and find a favorite color in person though. :-).

Do your due diligence--like you are doing.

A one year old machine at list is not a good deal.

BlueKnights connections are very good.

I was in the same boat until this afternoon. Closed a deal on a 2015 RT-S SE6 for $24.5K out the door price. I pick it up tomorrow! Happy trails!

While I trust that iMotorsports is good, I negotiated a better price at local dealer. Don't forget also on the 15s there is a promo for 0% interest or $2,500 rebate. It's just like buying a car. Be prepared to walk away from a dealer if they are not willing to give you a 'reasonable' deal.

My RTS

I checked out our two local dealers when I was looking last year. I preferred the one East of you. They just didn't have the selection, very helpful and said the would track it down. I do take my Spyder there for service.
Wound up picking one up in Illinois.
Buying anything from dealer that has it on the floor will most likely get you the best deal.

Got a great deal on my 2015 RTS SE6 in August of last year right before the 2016s came out. Paid 22,500

Don't hesitate to contact other dealers if ones around you are not willing to offer you a deal. I got a great deal on my new 2015 RT Limited, $23,649 out the door...

Hey thanks! I was going to head up there next Saturday. I always prefer to try to do business locally, even if it's just across state lines. Although, if I can save a ton of money and more importantly, get exactly what I want on line then I have no qualms about shopping online.

Your welcome!
If your on Facebook look up Kansas City Spyder Ryders, they are a large local group that do a lot of great things.
They are on here also, I just can't remember where.

Pre Approved through USAA for price of bike and the local dealership is willing to price match...like i'm shopping at walmart!

The only issue is that I had my heart set on white but they only have black and red...and yellow, which i'm not a fan of the latter.

That is a good deal. still not sure the extras are worth $4600 (paid 18,999) for my base. But that is a great deal on a limited.
but to answer the questio if there are 15s out there you should be able to get a great deal on one.

Back in Feb, Honda of Winston-Salem, NC had 4 limiteds on their web site for $23600, pick your color... I used their web site to make my local dealer beat that price.

Where I got mine, (Holzhauers in Nashville IL) they still have a new 15 limited listed on their web site.

I pre approved through USAA.......its going to be a long 2 days while I wait for the bank to send an overnight check. Dealership (understandably) won't let me take it prior to them receiving the check. Friday is when I should have my first spyder. Settled on a intense red pearl RT Limited as they only had black and yellow versions left. I loved it in person much more than on the pictures. I also test drove one for the first time...HOLY !@$!...it was amazing. It was a little windy and I got bounced a round a bit until I loosened my grip (read that here somewhere). I didn't take it on the highway so I only got her to 61. It's been about 7 years since I owned my last 2 wheel bike so I thought there might be a big relearning phase but this is a simple but fun machine to drive.

2 days...ugg.
