• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 F3-S Advice

I'm looking at a 2015 F3s with 6800 miles on it. Bike looks clean, but it's in texas and I'm in Tennessee. Is there anything specific that I should be looking for, or trying to avoid? How reliable are these generally speaking and would you recommend buying an extended warranty? Thanks!

One thing to look for is red dust on the front sprocket. Its a 1 minute check and requires about 3 or 4 screws to be removed so you can see the sprocket behind the shield. If red dust is present there's a good likelihood of the sprocket failing. Other than that, just the usual, oil changes up to date, filters etc.

Well I have a 2015 F3-S SE I have 42000 miles and it runs like a charm. My sprocket is clean I'll sell you my Bike.

Inquire of the seller when the Spyder was put in service. With a BRP extended warranty you only get five total years of coverage, generally two factory years and three B.E.S.T extended warranty. Third party extended warranties are a cash cow for the sellers and a crap shoot for the buyers. I wouldn't have anything to do with one.

Thanks for the information, the bike is being sent to a Can Am dealer today to have the belt and tensioner replaced due to belt damage. It will also be inspected for other issues. Hopefully the inspection goes well and I will be getting it next week.
