2015 F-3 Spyder Hard Saddle Bags

Annamarie

New member
Hi, I'm a new rider and could really use some advice on some hard saddle bags for my white F-3. Also..any for sale? Thanks, Annamarie

I put some Kappa K40 bags with a Givi N151 Wingrack to hold them. They are removable, and not super expensive. It does take a little modification to put on, but not bad.

Here is what they look like on a F3.

The folks here have had good luck with a few different brands. Some not so much. I decided to go with the OEM. Sure I can't fit a helmet in it, but I took a business trip to North Carolina, from PA, for a week and took the bike. Had plenty of room for clothes and stuff. Even bought a new pair of CAT boots when I was down there and got them in the bags for the ride back.

I have to admit that I really don't think they are worth $1200.00 but now that I have them, I won't be taking them off (the quick release does work well though).

If you don't like chrome, here is my thread on how to plastidip the hinge:

The easiest way is to get some Easy Brackets and then what bags you like. Givi N151 is a European model in the States it's Givi N141 also Kappa's are hard to find in US.
If you want a detailed instruction on install lookup spyderyderjim an follow his post he has Givi side bags and Top case.

Good luck

I've got OEM bags and I like them. My husband got viking bags for $250 which lock and were easy to install with the mounting hardware that came with them. There are pictures in a different thread. There are plenty of existing threads on different saddlebags that you can look through to see what other people have done.

Part of the other side of the story.

I have purchased two Corbin seats and backrests. Two Corbin fairings (2008 and 2009). Two Corbin trunks (2008 and 2009). The shipping time was very painful. The fit and finish of the products was very satisfactory for me. I did not run into issues with quality. Did not have to deal with return issues.

Never bought Corbin bags and it seems there is an issue with them running currently.

Annamarie how are you? Congrats on the new f3, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I truly enjoy mine's. Anyway I actually purchased the can am Saddlebags and used them only a few times before my wife surprised and purchased the corbin bags so I am actually looking to sell my saddlebags from can am. Let me know if ur interested in them, as I said they're basically brand new bags that cost $1300 but we can work out a good price. Thanks.

Hi spydaman60, loving the look of your corbin bags, I would be grateful if you could post a pic from the rear of your F3 with corbin bags.

Glad you wrote 2008 year
what we went through and others going through now is F3 saddlebags. The mold of left side is defected.

There have been enough posts indicating there is a current issue with the F3 saddlebags and a left side defect. Thus my disclaimer about purchasing saddlebags.

Corbin, the brand, seems to go through good times and bad times. Currently, they need to address the issues.

SHAD Saddlebags

I am quite happy with my SHAD bags. Both saddlebags and top box will hold full face helmets. They remove quickly and the handle makes them just like a suit case to carry.

Holy, do you know the model number for your side and top bag? I looked on the shad website, and it wasn't clear to me what will work with and F3.

Thanks
