• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have been reading everything about the new spyder and can't to see and ride one, I do have one question that maybe someone can answer on where the inlets are for the radiators there is nothing to stop items going right into the radiators. does anyone else see a problem with this or is it just me? Maybe I'm missing something, but I did not see anything to stop this. It's looking good to get rid of my 2010.

Have you looked behind the plastic grillework in any car recently? There's nothing of substance in there either that would stop anything more than a wasp...

Good point. It appears that the radiators are behind some kind of grate. An easy solve if the spaces are big enough to let in debris, might be some kind of mesh screen. But--its early on and don't know if this will present any type of issue.

I am sure I will be posting tons of pictures of mine when I get it. Len and I plan on taking it apart to do some installs already. Like a GPS

You are right but at least on the car there is something in front. I know it can happen because I did have a rock come thru the grill on one of my hot rods.

I plan to see if Bob Denman can break any part of the 2014.
If he can't I figure it's bullet proof.

Hey! :lecturef_smilie: I resemble that remark! :opps:

As I have previously stated; no unauthorized farkling, no wrenching, no tinkering.
I'm allowed to: w
ash it,
wax it,
ride it,
gas it up, and
check the oil... NOTHING ELSE!

It's no different than my VTX or M109R other than you don't have the front wheel throwing junk into it. :doorag:

When I bought my '12 my wife and I had the same conversation. I didn't even make it out of the dealership before I was getting stuff to put on it. So from one Bob to another.... Good luck with that.

:agree: You can drive yourself NUTZ worrying about stuff; or you can enjoy life!
...But it's tough to do both at the same time!
