Salesman... :banghead:Not sure where they came up with that, it's the first thing you notice on a 2014.
Went in to Wichita stoped at Marine World and looked at a new 2014 RTS that is silver. I started the engine and it sounded like it had a lot of power, seat and back rest were nice they said that the throttle was not quick from a stop, to save tires.

I know that I have read at least 1 or 2 reviews that support that statement. I would like to see a real world comparison between the two engines for 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, roll on, etc. I bet that the roll on acceleration is probably where the difference would be most noticeable on the 2014.
I can tell you for a fact that off the line RT to RT it's a big difference. On my RT's when you hit the gas from a stop to shoot across traffic the RT will fall on it's face for just a sec, the 1330 just goes as you would expect any bike to. It was the first thing Fred Rau and I noticed during our testing.
Now; we just need to line up a new RT, and a 990-series GS/RS for some comparisons...
Sounds like a Spyderfest competition could be brewing here. Do you want to share in the bookie operation Bob?
But how much of a cut will we need to give to the house?![]()
