• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 RTS windshield

Question for Don...

Don,
Since the sport windshield is 3" shorter than stock, would you get the buffeting if lowered all the way down... Basically riding with the wind hitting you square in the face? I'm 6'-0" and either have to raise the stock shield all the way up or all the way down to avoid major buffeting. But, I can imagine that the shorty can allow for a bunch of air to just plain 'ol hit you. Definitely don't mind the wind hitting me, but can't stand the point where turbulence beats you up. Would the standard shorty work just fine? So would the shorty with a vent alleviate any concern or a shorty that is wider, or a shorty with both a vent and wider? I would hate to get one to realize there is no avoiding the turbulence or buffeting effect... Any words of wisdom would be appreciated?

I love the BRP short shield. Plenty of air in the low position and enough protection for me when up. Winter is a coming, so, I may change my tune in a month or two. It cost me $150 at time of Spyder purchase.
