• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry to hear that you'r ride was ruined it sounds like it could be a loose brake line maybe squirting some brake fluid on to the calipers?

Bummer..!!

if it smells like oil burning it could be an oil line leaking onto exhaust and blowong back to the wheel area. Any brake fluid loss would have tripped alarms. Oil leaks take longer to set off the codes. Not being mechanically inclined best have it checked out. Hope it is something simple...:sour:

leak

It also happened to me yesterday with just 48 miles its because they used a defective lock tight on the oil line they should have it out soon about the problem its from the factory.. they fixed mine and its wonderful!

But I thought the 2014's were supposed to be perfect?:dontknow:

Sorry to hear you had a problem, hopefully an easy quick fix.

Please give us an update when you find out the cause and fix for the problem. Hoping this is a one time small glitch.

Not only was it an easy fix but it took longer to get the oil off the bike then it did to fix it. the Service manager told me they have a site that was talking about a few of them having this problem they checked it and sure enough that was just what it was they replaced the lock tight and put the line back together and I have had no problem whats so ever with it and I have drove another 120 miles on it yesterday and today! They came and picked her up and even paid for lunch for us! Barney's of Brandon (FL) went over and above what they had to do!

A few 14a were affected apparently like the first 10 it's simple actually the sealant around the screw needs to be reapplied, spoke to my technician today, after that's done it's fixed so I take this back it's soooooo minor ;)

Those kind of problems I can deal with. In fact, I wouldn't even bother taking it back to the dealer (which would take far more time for me to do than just fix it myself). These kind of issues happen all the time. No big deal at all.
