2014 RTS glovebox won't stay closed - any ideas?

Hi folks, I just purchased a 2014 RTS, the previous owner took it to a dealer to get it checked out. Now the glovebox above the fuel tank won't stay closed.
The little clasp moves back and forth.
Any ideas what to look for?

When you press down on the latch do you hear it click and see it remain in the latched position? I used a medium size paper clamp to serve as the pin in the glove box top. If the latch doesn't click and remain in the closed position I suggest spraying some aerosol silicone on it and see if that helps. I periodically do so to my latch. DO NOT use any lubricant that can accumulate crud and gum up the latch. Good luck!

Anything stuck in the clasp?

Spray some WD-40 on the clasp and open and close the glove box door to work in the WD-40 into the hinges.

I have the same model.

WD - 40 is a poor lubricant ..... Do what JayBros suggested you will be happier .... Mike :thumbup:
