• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just wanted to pass on a few photos (working on better ones) of the XK Glow Carbon Installation I just did to my 2014 RT SM6.

I have a video of just one of the color change sequences here;

I am very satisfied with the product so far.

I found that the XK Glow tech support guy (Scott) was very helpful in answering my questions.

The Carbon series allows for Iphone/Android control and a lot of customizable color/sequence control.

If anyone is looking for more info on my install or the product feel free to contact me.

I owe a big thanks to the SpyderLovers site without which I could not have done the install.
I got invaluable info from some members on their LED installs and great info on how to remove all those panels and mirrors.

Hopefully I did this right; pics, link and in the right forum!

Oh.. some other info..

Since I didn't have the factory fog lamps.. the LED install in the scoop worked out great..
I purchased the factory fog lamp switch and used it to turn the system on and off for a nice factory finish look to the dash..
I mounted the control box in the frunk and utilized the unused (on mine) 12 volt adapter grommet for the wiring..
Fun stuff but the last of my farkling for now!

Looks great. :thumbup: Be careful about some of the colors. Especially if you run across a LEO short on his monthly quota. :roflblack: Tom :spyder:

Agreed!

Agreed.. I actually swung by my local LE department and asked about the laws..
They said that so long as I wasn't riding with Red or Blue.. Had anything flashing.. or to bright as to impair or distract other drivers.. no one was going to bother me..
