There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Curtice Ohio

You're up very close to Maumee Bay State Park, I've been through Curtice a few times. I take it you purchased your ryde from Honda East in Maumee as he's the nearest dealer to you. I'm in Fostoria about 40 miles due South of you. I deal with American Powersports in Findlay.

Yep I'm about 5 miles directly south of the park and go there twice a day with our dog for our walks. I bought the '10 RTS from J & J Sales in Huron (long story) but was too inconvenient for routine service so went back with Honda East. I stopped by APS and they were accommodating on getting me in and out quickly for maintenance but wanted me to sign a waiver to put my Amsoil in it. Never went back. Honda East gave me a good deal on my '14.

Gotta call that trailer was finally wired per BRP's instructions to work with my Ltd. Rode over to Honda East and nope not this time! Running and brake lights worked correctly but turns were reversed. The tech said he will call BRP again and get it fixed by this afternoon. I've got my fingers crossed that they geturdone today.

I'm sure by now you've put a few more miles on it. What is your feelings after more riding"

Scott

I love the 1330 ACE and the SE6. It is much more quiet and has so much torque that I find that I'm cruising around in fifth or sixth gear. It is also better handling and more stable than what I remember when I first took delivery of the '10. I'm not sure I will be adding Elkas or the Baja Ron sway bar right away. There aren't many twisties around here so I haven't had a chance test out the handling. The tri-ax adj. bars are great also making a more comfortable ride for me. Since the CB/comm system is on back order I haven't been able "plug-in" to listen to my tunes but speakers seem more than adequate even at highway speeds for now. But the lack of intercom would be a problem when two up so I hope that it gets here for installation soon. I haven't tested the GPS yet. I'm hoping it works better than the '10 which I could never get the driving instructions to come thru the headsets; only the external speakers. We're supposed to have great weather thru Thursday so more "testing" is on tap.

Yesterday I finally decided that I needed to start ordering "farkles" so the Limited will be ready to roll in 56 days ( or beforehand ) when spring arrives. So these are on the way: Lamonster FBB highway peg brackets, Kuryakyn ISO-pegs in black, Baker Built clear air wings with black brackets and F4 stock height wide windscreen, no vent. Gonna hold off on the Utopia backrest until after Spyderfest to see if my wife likes a Ultimate seat better than stock. At Spyderfest I plan on lights added and laser alignment done. I'm not sold on the bumpskid on the '14's but may get the front radiator and side exhaust SS screens. The Elka shocks are expensive and are on my list but will prolly have to wait until next year.

Earlier this fall I managed to use my Pitbull motorcycle lift to put the Ltd on some dollies I had for easy farkling and cleaning over the winter. I ended using a piece of 3/8" x 4" poplar I had on hand on the lift where it contacts the frame due to the frame being somewhat recessed by the plastic belly pan plus there is a "thingy with wires" that hangs down on gas fill side that I had to be careful of not hitting with the lift. It seemed a little unstable when lifted but I didn't take to the top (24" I think), only high enough to get the dollies under the tires. It was easier and more stable on my '10 RT and not as worrisome. Does anyone have any tips for when I reverse the process in the spring? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1422195399.354463.jpg

I've been notified that everything is scheduled to arrive on the 28th. Let the farkling begin![emoji2]

I got ambitious yesterday and started the installs on the limited. It took me about 1.5 hours to install the BRP adjustable air deflectors I took off the '10 RT before I traded and the Baker Built Air Wings. The F4 WS and hwy peg brackets will be next on the schedule next week. I've also remembered that I want a mud flap on the rear. I need to get one ordered. I installed a Spyderflap a week ago and today put the WrapMySpyder carbon fiber windshield blackouts on my windshields. I have a OE vented shield from my 2010 that will be used in summer months around town and a new F4 stock height wide shield to use when it's cooler and for long trips especially when two up. I still need to install the footboard highway pegs and brackets.

Looking good. Nothing like a job well done.
Have to ask. What did you use to cover the screws on the mudflap?

They are plastic screw covers. I found them at the local hardware store in the section with all the other specialty fasteners and knobs in those pullout trays by "Hillman". They are similar to the chrome covers you can get at the auto parts store.

Today I removed the stock windshield and installed the F4 with the carbon fiber blackout panel. It was easy-peasy. Next is the install of the highway pegs and Lamonster FBB's. Then a good cleaning and waxing and I'll be ready to go. I installed the Lamonster Garage FBB's and Kuryakyn pegs yesterday. Or almost anyway. I was missing the Allen head cap screw in one of the pegs. Kuryakyn is sending a replacement and should arrive tomorrow.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1426105747.155858.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1426105767.381233.jpg
