• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 on Showroom Floor

No, Finless, it isn't coming to me as a loaner :roflblack: but I did send an email to my customer service rep at BRP to find out how it is possible that this dealer has a vehicle for sale that hasn't been manufactured yet. I would suspect that this is one of the demo vehicles from the dealer show and it can not be sold.

Good news is that a loaner is on its way to me but it is a used RT. And I am so excited I can't stand it. You .won't see me posting much after it gets here next week. I'll be out riding.

Glad to hear, you may be back on three wheels.
I still say, they should have given your choice of models in any custom color you wanted and a loaner a whole lot quicker

Well... that is a dealer showroom... question is where? The adverticing "dealer" may have snagged it from another website (maybe a Canada dealer) and claimed it as available.:dontknow:

:congrats: Ann... glad you will be on the road with a :spyder2: while your new baby is being built!
The link to the site still works. It is a dealer in New Braunfels, TX called Wood's Cycle Country.

Okay here is the skinny on the Texas dealer and the 2014. Some of the machines from the Dealer Show went to the top dealers to use as demos and for test drives. While the dealer in TX does have the machine on his floor this particular Spyder is not for sale. There is one in Ontario (that a Spyderlover rode yesterday) one in California the one in Texas and a few others scattered around. So if you are lucky and live close to one of these dealers you can actually sit on one and ride one and see for yourself if you like Cognac or not.

Also, actual production is starting on Monday one week earlier than they had actually planned.:clap:

2014 rt

I saw one in Kodiak Tenn near Gatlinburg Tenn at Mountain motorsports. They are going to use it for demo. This was last week

As you know I am anxiously awaiting a 2014 and have been working with BRP customer service to see when a 2014 RTS SM6 will be built so when I saw a 2014 on a dealer's floor I sent my guy an email and asked him what was up with that. He called me today and told me about the demo bikes at the dealers and also about the production being moved up. Only thing was they changed the production schedule but that didn't change the date that they will build the first SM.

you go ann
