• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 ST Right Side Heat Deflector Relief

I finally bit the bullet and ordered parts from Cheap Cycle Parts. So far I am pleased with the results. Still a little heat but not that objectionable. If there are others that are missing the heat deflector on the right side (Photo 1) you might want to check into this. I had the upper panels replaced and thought the problem was solved. My foot and shin were slightly less toasty but still not comfortable. After looking at a 2014 ST and seeing the heat deflector I started looking for a parts diagram for the 2013 ST and became aware that my heat deflector was missing. Duh!

It is a simple straight forward install if you take time to look at all the parts carefully. There is only one place where each part will fit. The exploded diagram on the Cheap Cycle Parts site gives a general idea of where everything goes. HTH
