• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 ST Limited Speedometer Lense Replacement

Do you know if the lens is even available as a separate item? It wouldn't surprise me if you had to replace the entire cluster. Good luck!

Please tell us why just the lens needs replacing? Personal preference or defect? Even better if Farkle :)

There are 2 plastic latches at the top that really don't hold much. Thin flat blade screwdriver to pop them up then tip out gauge cluster, top first.

Ok thank you very much! I will go and try. I am replacing because of some hazing on the lens....it was $18 part.

I had the same problem and took it in to the dealer. The warranty covered the replacement.

From what I've heard, doesn't the new lense just fog back up over time? I notice it a little on our 14 ST-L.

He's probably not under factory warranty and BEST would cost him $50. I'm actually amazed that the new lens is so cheap. :yikes:

At first I started to try to take mine apart and only got so far. I decided to take it in and let the pros do it. It is not an easy install.

The design is not good because the water from just washing the spyder by hand drains over the top of the Speedomiter and the seal is not protected at all. I was thinking about adding another bead of silicone to whats there to keep it from happening again.

Thanks for bringing this up again to remind me. Ill do it when I do my Corbin install in a couple of weeks.

Never use a power washer to wash bike. Use a gentle shower. You'd be surprised where high pressure water can get into. When I wash the dash area I use a wash mitt and sprinkle water to rinse.
