• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 rt recall flash?

If you are referring to the ECM update which is part of Bulletin 2013-9, here is a thread about it.

Here is the "short version" of what the ECM update accomplishes according to one tech rep...""Makes them run [slightly] cooler and eliminates the takeoff stumble some have experienced..."

The word "slightly" was my own addition, as that is what the SB actually says. I have not seen any actual results posted by members who have had this update performed, but I may have missed them. The SB came out in January, I believe.

it was made to try to alleviate some heat and to lower the rpm's a lil and also remap for fuel. personally i don't think it did anything. but as soon as your bike is hooked up to BUDS it will get the re map even if you say you don't want it

Had the ECM update done a few weeks ago then drove 280+ miles no real change.
If anything changed I would say It's seems to sip a little more fuel.

I had the flash done on my '13 RTS. Can't say I noticed any difference in performance. If you're bringing it in for a service, do it. But I wouldn't bring it in just for the flash.
