• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 RT Limited Question

GEOSIK:

The Stock shocks cannot be adjusted but you can put after market shocks on that can be adjusted, you can also replace the sway Bar (least expensive option) and really upgrade your front end response.

I personally researched the crap out of the Spyder before buying. But not everyone does! We should not be to judgemental. :doorag:

Way to encourage new owners to ask questions guys, let's hope you never come up short of information on anything yourselves!

Welcome..!!

congrats on your new ryde..the 2013's do not have adjustable shocks. If you find you need better front end handling you do have many options. Your manual is a good reference book and will show you all adjustable features on your spyder. 1.200 miles is a good start enjoy and be safe..!!

I am a new owner (1 month 1200 miles) and my question is.... Are the front shocks adjustable?

The answer is no (as posted above). However this does make me ask why you are asking.... Have you noticed the front falling down in the turns? Have you noticed the front bottoming out on dips in the road? Have you noticed swaying on the road from side to side?

All these are POSSIBLE traits on the 2013 RT. There are some that have shocks that are bad from factory. There are many that need ball joints replaced. There are some that are not properly aligned.
Dont panic, It is all under warranty. You may not even have a problem.

Post back and let us know what it is that your experiencing.

thaks for the replies. Rabtech, I seem to be getting the side to side sway.....

As stated above, make sure your ball joints have been replaced under the service bulletin. There are also reports of bad shocks. If you are a first time :spyder2: rider, get with someone's else :spyder2: and you can feel the difference. If not, then you know the handling. If you are experienced in rYding the :spyder2:, then you might consider the sway bar and shock options to improve the ride. Good luck!
