Purchased RT in Feb. rode a week or so before I could keep it in one lane. After reading all I could about being a newbie to the spyder. I finally got to were I was comfortable riding my new machine. It still didn't feel just right so I called dealer about recall on ball joints and was told that my spyder was not on the recall list. After 4600 miles my tires were wearing on inside edge. I called my dealers service dept. and ask about alignment and I was informed my spyder was due a recall on the ball joints. So I made an appointment for alignment, ball joints and 4600 mile service. I also had a problem with the machine stalling at stop lights after warming up. When the service was complete they still didn't do an alignment. I was told my spyder Was not on a recall list for an alignment. Also nothing was done about the stalling issue I was told there were no codes in the computer however he had heard this before and I could leave it. I live 225 miles from this dealer that is why I was there when they opened and prepared to stay all day. I own a business also and if some one had spent over 30,000 dollar on a machine and extra warranty plus a service plan I would have done alignment to please my customer. I love the machine but we need better service departments with more knowledge. I will say all the folks at the dealership were very nice just not willing to take the time to take care of problems.
