• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We got ours back today , and went for a 50 mile ride mixed of stop & go , and 75 mile a hr. four lane. Was checking all panel's and glove box & fire hole the whole time. All panels stayed cool & it was 92deg. & very high humidity. Inside the glove box was slightly warmer the the panels. The fire hole was warm air only.Thought we would really miss the crome adj side vents but air was getting to us over & down the sides of the air scoops. I think we will add the vented windshield & enjoy our new Trike. Is there any windshield's that have the two lower cutouts & vented?:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::doorag:

Thanks for the report. The "fix" is looking better with each new report.

As for vented windshields, I just ran across the F4 site the other day. Some interesting choices there.

Everything in life is a trade off! I had the tall and wide with vent installed on my RT while at Spyderfest. It does such a good job of deflecting air that the other day when I WANTED all the air I could get to hit me (it was a hot day) I noticed there wasn't as much air hitting me as there was from the stock windshield. Aargh!:banghead:

We had decided on the 23 inch instead of the stock 25 inch do to the fact of the heat in Tn. Wonder if we could get the people with F4 shields to add our lower cut-outs since it helps on backdraft?:dontknow:With the vented & the cutout's it would be the BOMB

On the 2010 RTS I had I cut out the lower holes to help cut the backdraft. I had looked at the '13 models and noticed they were cut out from the factory so I duplicated it on mine with a drill and jig saw. It worked well and looked fine. Cut down on the head buffeting for sure.
