• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP is pretty consistent at not announcing anything until the last possible moment (making planning very difficult).. For instance they didn't even announce they were doing the track ride at Daytona Bike Week until one week before the event - event though they had been getting requests for two months as to whether they would offer the ryde again or not.....
 
If it is anything like 2011 don't expect a lot of organized events. The best part will not even be an official Owners Event happening but it will be Lamont's BBQ:bbq::bbq:
 
They have reduced the event days from 3 to 2 for some reason. Like everyone else has stated, they won't publish anything until right before the event. Pretty much cut and dry... Food, Tech help for owners, contests, food and last day in the evening presentation of staff and awards. They will have a lot of info of the area on the welcome packets.
 
There will be several great guided group rydes to choose from... And if you are registered for the event, I think you will be receiving something from BRP pretty soon.

I've worked for a few large corporations and its not easy to get all the i's dotted, t's crossed and approvals lined up. I am quite positive they are trying to make the event even better than last year in Durango. I do believe the majority of attendees had an excellent time in Durango!
