• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 Heat Management

I am a new owner, so excuse what may be an old issue or a redundant question.
I just purchases a 2013 RT-L and I heard that there was a heat recall/fix and I think that mine was repaired based on the cowling under the lights.

However, the left side upper has a nice screen over it, but the right side, I think it is called the dragons mouth, there is no screening or cover. If I purchased some screening for over the right side would this impede the airflow to where I would have issues?
I just want to do what is correct based on your experience or knowledge, I don't want to put on a trim piece for aesthetics and end up with a heat issue. Thank you.

The right side (The Dragon's Mouth...) was always open. Some folks do mount a matching screen in there in order to match the LH side of the bike.
Since the 2014 and later RTs do have that "missing" screen; folks have figured out how to adapt it to the earlier models. Look for a thread in here about that! :2thumbs:

:opps: I can't remember the names of the handy folks who have done it... :banghead:
