• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 Floorboards

I was at the shop dealership today picking up a parts manual when I noticed a 2013 RT sitting on the showroom floor. Went over and gave her a look over and noticed new style of floorboards. Sat on it and fell in love with the feel of the floorboard and really like the way they look too. Does anyone know if they will fit a 2011 RT Limited?
I would drop the grand to get them if they would fit.

They will fit but there are some safety concerns because of the throw of the brake peddle. I'm told that the release mechanism on the boards would be activated too much because the throw on the brake peddle is more than the throw on the 2013 with the Brimbo brakes.

Just my .02 cents worth, I have the Seal PUP Floorboards ($450.00) and they far exceed the BRP floorboards for comfort and stability in my opinion.

I have wondered for a long time why someone hasn't developed a floorboard and pivoting shift lever for the manual shift Spyder(s) like they have on most other bikes. My guess is alot of owners who be all over that type of mod.
