• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 RTS-SE5-Vacuum Lines leaking-how many others have had this too?

2012 RTS here with 6800 miles and no problems as yet. But probably going to order the hoses just to be on the safe side even though the Spyder is under warranity.

I just did my 9500 mile service last weekend and inspected the hoses. They were fine yet again. No cracks or dry looking. In fact the hose looks new :) I have also inspected them anytime I had the acoustic panels off for some reason. I also rubbed a little silicon lube on them to help keep them from drying out.

Gerbear sent me a section of new hose and I am saving it until it is needed. I know I should just do it but I figure don't touch what aint broke and this is a 2011 with "possible" throttle body issues so I just don't want to touch the throttle body yet ;)

Anyway I guess not all the hose material used over the years is the same. I guess I got luck with good hose material.

Just replaced vacuum hoses on my 2010 RT S SE5. The outer vacuum hose was not too bad shape but the inner vacuum hose that gets a lot of heat was cracked very bad and dry.

Replaced at 19,635 miles.
