2012 Rt Limited Grill - Right side upper and lower...

There is no upper or lower grill on the right side and large openings I'd guess for air to cool the engine. I found someone who makes chrome grills to fit but I was wondering if that would be ok or if it should just be left open for maximum air and cooling? I don't want to damage the engine or void the warranty.

We have an upper grill on the right on our 2013 RT. No lower grill but I think BRP left it off to avoid overheating in Summer when stopped. I think an auxillary fan comes on if needed.

There's no grille there to maximize cooling, and keep any collected debris from gumming up the works... :shocked:
If you do put a grille in there; :lecturef_smilie: keep an eye out for obstructions.
I can't say if it's okay to do it; but I'm sure shopping for one!
