There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Just bought a brand new 2012 RS-S this year, it's been great, but the windshield is pretty much just for decoration it seems in regards to blocking the wind, unless you lay down on it when riding...we use full face helmets too... interested in what others have done with RS models for this? we like the ride stance and style of the RS, and are afraid a bigger windshield will look out of place on it...if anyone has pics of thi on their RS, please post! Thanks!

It's not like a car, you don't look through the windshield, its just there to direct the wind up and over your helmet. I do have one of the Ultra touring RS Windsheilds on mine, and it doesn't look out of place at all. I got a really good deal on it on ebay, So i didnt need to buy the madstad, but i can see where the adjustability is nice.

I bought the adjustable windshield from baggershields.com. I also have a 2012 Rss. Its 14" with base shield which is 4" taller than the stock BRP windshield. The extension piece makes it 21" tall. You still have a sport look.uploadfromtaptalk1403492047452.jpguploadfromtaptalk1403492067622.jpg

You can buy the bracket and get the adjustabilty withouth the windshield,I use it on my 23"ultra-touring

Thank you all for your replies!! Your bikes all look awesome!! (what's not to like!?) Lol i showed these to my husband (he doesn't do social media) lol....He liked the looks of all of them...our only other issue is he's 6ft, I'm 5 ft 7, & we both take turns riding...but he sits taller than i do...(larger torso height than i have...I've got longer legs..lol) so I'm thinking the adjustable would probably work out better for us....we will definitely look into these before deciding!! Thanks all!! (if i could get my profile pic loaded here, it would show the bike! ) :)

Correct, I'm aware you don't use it to "look thru"...just looking for a bit less wind on the highways .. So anything has got to be better than the original ... Thanks for your input! We have done a few searches for accessories on ebay, but have not checked out windshield..thanks! :)

We have a windshield now and it's so much better at high speeds than the original. Really makes a difference.

I purchased a Madstad 22 clear shield. I'm 5'11", it was the equivalent of 10 degrees warmer ambient temperatures compared to the stock where the air was hitting me mid chest.

I have put 13,000 miles on since it's installation and would recommend for comfort as well as adjustability.
:yes::clap:
